I’m Rin – I like handmade things.

I have loved making things since I was a little girl.  I’d like to share with you my crafty adventures, which range from sewing to origami to painting to knitting.  My projects include fashion and accessories, as well as homewares and decorating ideas for the home.

Some of my favourite things in the world include Japanese sewing patterns and craft books, vintage clothes shopping and drawing cute pictures.  I have a weakness for bows, and really appreciate a great bowl of ramen noodles.

My Influence

I was born in Japan to a Japanese Mum and an Indonesian Dad. I have grown up in Australia, and now live with my Australian partner, Dave, in an apartment on the beautiful northern beaches of Sydney.

Eco Love

I truly believe that even the smallest actions for the environment still makes a difference to the big picture. I am an advocate for reusing and recycling, and when possible, try to buy pre-loved items. It also happens that eco friendly is also budget friendly!

I’m just experimenting and having fun with sewing and crafts, but I hope you find something here that inspires you and brightens up your day.
